Virginian Railway Passenger Station
1402 South Jefferson Street
Roanoke , VA 24016
Virginian Railway Station is located on the corner of Jefferson Street and was built in 1909. It is one of the only existing examples of the Spanish Revival style architecture in Virginia. It served as a railway station for over 45 years. A fire in 2001 almost destroyed the building. The station is being restored and will be put to some good use.
