    »Scandinavian Heritage Park

    Scandinavian Heritage Park features remembrances and replicas from each of the five Scandinavian Countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. A stabbur that is a replica of a storehouse from a farm near Telemark, Norway, 30 feet tall Dala (dawla) horse, bronze statue of Leif Eiriksson, full-size replica of the Gol Stave Church, which was moved from Gol, Hallingdal to the Folk Museum in Bygdoy Park in Oslo, Norway about 100 years ago, the Sigdal House, a 230-year-old house from the Vatnas area of Sigdal, Norway; and more can be seen at the Scandinavian Heritage Park.

    »Roosevelt Park Zoo

    The Roosevelt Park zoo occupies tremendous significance in the Minot vicinity of North Dakota. The zoo site was opened to the general public in 1920 and constitutes a mammoth 19 acre (7.7 hectares) land cover. It is a fine home to nearly 200 distinct animals. The American Bison was a distinguished feature of the very first animal exhibition. The zoo can be viewed from the month of May through September and one can witness approximately 48 different species. The pricing is modest and commercially viable.
