    »Fargo Air Museum

    The Fargo Air Museum is a fascinating museum for those interested in seeing warplanes actually flown during the infamous World Wars. Watch out for the radio-controlled airplanes, the Mustang P-51 used in WW2 to carry bomber crews, the Corsair used in WW2 and the Korean War, and the Grumman TBM Avenger which was flown by George Bush. Exciting events are organized for kids and they're even allowed a chance to sit in the cockpit.

    The Heritage Hjemkomst Interpretive Center provides interpretation of the hand-built Hjemkomst Viking Ship, a full-scale replica of the Hopperstad Church in Vik, Norway; and Red River Valley Exhibition, a 4,000 square foot exhibit space with a 48-foot rendition of the Red River and its tributaries carved into the carpet and hosts traveling exhibits in 7,000 square feet of temporary exhibition space. Tours, lectures and festivals, hosts residencies and performances and educational services are offered at the Heritage Hjemkomst Interpretive Center.
