Corey Smith is a singer/songwriter and guitarist who grew up in Jefferson, a small town in Georgia. For much of his adolescence, Smith was discontent with his small town roots, admitting later that he often dreamed of leaving Jefferson. After one semester abroad, he found that his heart remained in Georgia and returned home to attend the University of West Georgia and then the University of Georgia, where his longtime girlfriend and now wife attended. During school, he developed a reputation for playing his guitar everywhere and anywhere, often spotted with the instrument at parties and bars. His debut album Undertones, released in 2003, features one of his most requested songs, "Twenty One." Smith gained a solid fan base with his alcohol and party-driven lyrics as well as his folk rock/country blues sound, a brand of music that he continued throughout his following albums including his 2011 effort, The Broken Record.

Tedeschi Trucks Band
Tivoli TheatreJanuary 23, 2015
709 Broad Street
Chattanooga, TN 37402
The nephew of founding member and drummer of The Allman Brothers Brothers, Derek Trucks was taught the guitar at a young age and by the time he was 9 years old he was considered a child prodigy. A few years after meeting Susan Tedeschi, an accomplished blues guitarist in her own right, the two decided to get married and start a band called the Tedeschi Trucks Band. The group was founded in 2010 and features a revolving cast of respected musicians, but Tedeschi and Trucks are always the two constant core members. The band plays an eclectic style of blues rock and because the band boasts the inclusion of two extremely talented guitarists in its lineup, many six-string aficionados consider the group to be one of the better touring outfits on the road today.

Chattanooga, TN 37402
Known as one of the more unpredictable acts of the its generation, the indie rock band of Montreal began as a psychedelic pop band in 1996 and has since evolved its sound into a neo-psychedelic mixture of funk, dance-punk, glam, electronica and afrobeat. Hailing from Athens, GA the band released its debut album Cherry Peel, in 1997 and with its next few subsequent albums, claimed a spot in the heart of the independent music scene despite never really receiving any mainstream success. A part of the Elephant 6 record company and music collective, the band is among the ranks of other indie darlings with its ability to marry several different musical styles with standard elements of pop music.
