Washington Park or Washington Square is a downtown public park. Added to the National Register of Historic Places, you can hire the park's gazebo for private events.
This gigantic park features a plethora of activities for the whole family or outdoor enthusiast to enjoy. From hiking trails, picnic spots, equestrian center, playground, and swimming pool, Scott County Park is the largest park of its kind in Scott County. If you can't fit everything in one day, the onsite camping allows visitors to temporarily call the park home while taking advantage of the many activities on offer.
LeClaire Park is one of the many green spaces that dot the beautiful city of Davenport. Located at the riverfront of the Mississippi, this public park sprawls across 400 acres (161 hectares). It comprises of several recreational spots, a baseball field and a stage for live entertainment. It hosts an array of concerts, festivals, cultural and community events. Visitors can enjoy a picnic on the lush grass, play a sport, admire the monuments, take a hiking trail and enjoy fishing, among myriad activities on offer.
Spread over 39 acres of land, the Longview Park Conservatory and Gardens is a beautiful city park that features botanical gardens. Accessible to the visitors without any fees, the park consists of beautiful flower gardens, greenhouse, volley ball, tennis court, playground, walking trails, ice skating, and picnis shelters to spend some family time or time with some friends.
The reputed Effigy Mounds National Monument is a home to mounds built by Native Americans. There are varied effigy mounds structured like animals as well as birds. Here, you can explore the visitors center or indulge in activities like hiking.
