Mark O'Connor is a violinist from Seattle, Washington whose talents range from music composition, teaching, and the ability to play several styles of music on the violin. Typically, when artists spread their talents over a wide range of activities and styles, they become considered jacks of all trades, but masters of none. Mark O'Connor definitely does not fall under this category. Not only is O'Connor sought after for his talents as a classical, bluegrass, jazz and country violinist for performances on film, television and in concert, his method for learning the violin has also been adopted by students and teachers of string instruments throughout the world.
